'Clubavision'

Can't believe no-one remembers it.

It was a guy and gal that used to go around clubs (for a TV company) interviewing people.

i remember it,it was on about 2am on a friday morning,didnt they get sued then taking off air for charging clubs to show them on the programme?
 
Yeah I remember it, was on late Friday nights, they used to visit one club before the break and one club after. I remember gatecrasher being on it once and pushca....

They used to interview some of the (usually battered) clubbers which I guess would have been you Drew!! Some of the conversations were very strange but hilarious as the punters tried to stop chewing and rolling there eyes...quality TV! Theres nothing like it now.

got interviewed outside privilege once with friends in costume for manumission... that was for sky travel!

never saw it tho!
 
I also remember some excellent (and not always intentionally) hilarious DJ interviews being on it including one with an obviously off his nut Nicky Holloway!

LOL, it was funny actually cos loads of friends went out that night with the intention of getting interviewed.

I was having a quiet one around the bars and decided to go to the club for a while late on and it was ME that ended up getting interviewed :lol:

I still have the 'Clubavision Ibiza special' on video somewhere.

Not bad but who remembers 'the dogs balarics', 'barefoot in the med', 'wild on', 'ibiza as it happens' and the daddy 'a short film about chilling' ????
 
Yeah I remember well "a short film about chilling" I think there been a few posts already about that one....quality tunes and a good film.

I used to love bare foot in the med....bring it back :(
 
Clubavision got shut down for charging clubs anything upto and including £3000 to get aired, apparantly it was against certain rules, probably broadcasting.

But the funny thing is that there's a Clubavision poster still posted on a boarded up building near where I live..... :lol:

i remeber it.. we need more tv show's like that they always seem to die out.
