Club closing times

Last year clubs where beingg told to close earlier due to new rules.... and i think some did didnt they?

I just wondered if they where being strict this year as we go tommorow :D
 
They are definetly being stricter this year - the times i've been this year the dj's have literally been dragged off the decks - they can' seem to stay open much past 7/7.30 ish.
 
its poor really cos you dont get there till about 1-2 so thats only 5 or 6 hours clubbing :roll:

Back here im used to about 8hrs.
 
Closing times different for closing parties?

Last year we found exactly the same - 7am came and literally the lights came on: goodnight, see you tomorrow!

As I'm hitting a few closing parties this year - Cream / Hed Kandi and Manumission (comments aside..) - can I expect these clubs to open much later.

I heard stories about Cream still going off at 12noon last year....

It's good to set expectations in advance!

By the way - seems a lot of people are hitting the Cream closing party - as it's going to be so popular, and seeing as I've never been to a closing party before - does it make sense to arrive earlier than we normally would?

Although you would expect the closing parties to go on much longer I was very surprised at when the opening parties shut.

For We Love the lights came on shortly after 6!!

And Cocoon was done and dusted at around 7.30 - It were'nt that the dj's wanted to stop they were obviously forced to by the owners.

If anyone was at Renaissance @ Pacha last week they would have noticed how p*ssed off Sasha was when he was told he had to wind things up.
 
Does anyone actually remember what time they leave in the morning?? 8O

I heard Sanchez carried on until nearly 8 at the opening (though I didn't last that long). La Troya's opening at Amnesia seemed to go on past the barrier... at least, it was really light outside when we left.
 
i remember in 2001 i went to a judgement sunday and left at 8:45 when i left the club was still busy and it was going off big time
 
This year they are closing earlier but sometimes it is really impossible...like two weeks ago in La Troya when 7.45 Amnesia was still full of people. There was about 20 Guardia Civil outside but they did not do anything to close the club.

If they go and close the club it will be just plain chaos. No taxis, no busses and 4000 people - just chaos.
 
So is this true the clubs are closing 1hour early this year at 6:00am!

official club closing times have been 6am for 5 years now.
it is also an an official rule that the big clubs have one hour to clear their premises. which in fact means that for most nights (when it's busy enough), they keep on playing music till about 6:30-6:45 (sometimes until just before 7am) and then everyone out.

Oh thanks I didn't realise...... :oops: Only been twice 2011/2004 & Space was open until 7.00am - 7.15am, & Pacha the same last year, my 1st time it was 8ish. I was just sounding off as 6.00am just seems a bit early, however I would just arrive @ 1.00am if that's what happens.

Privilege shut at 06:45 for the ASOT opening last monday.
Cream shut at 06:45 on Thursday as well for Cream.
 
This time of year the rules are followed more. Get into September and things can still be going past 7AM ...... Especially at Cocoon! It was still going strong past 7AM at Pacha (All Gone) when Matthias Tanzmann was playing last September...
