Hey, if you don’t think banning partying from 6am to 4pm is a complete overreach, not sure what to tell you. Although plenty of partying is had in those hours via the explosion of private parties.
 
I think what makes it concerning is that they're shortening the times even more when you consider the West End area that has to now shutdown at 3 AM as well. Along with the restrictions on outdoor partying, they seem to be wanting to get away from partying.

There are other destinations, but it'd be nice if Ibiza could be more solidified at the top and go back to its glory days that were defined partially by looser closing times. I mean, most ppl here lament about the good old days and I would think closing times and the looser attitudes with clubbing are part of those...

I know but the fact is it was all abused, ruined and it'll never go back. You have to think of the residents as well right?

This is a nightlife forum and this topic has one of the biggest impacts on the scene. If there is negative news I will complain any chance I get unless we’re not allowed to on here.

I go to other destinations, not sure if that’s the solution to the problem though.

it's an ibiza forum to be precise. with a lot of nightlife though.

it's a difficult topic all of this and right now I'm too tired to add more to that.

Sure. But is it those clubs that need help? Is the West End even gonna be a thing in 5 years? Less?

Agreed though. There are options for those they want to continue. They just need to use their imaginations and not make the same mistakes by pushing their luck
 
well-connected clubbers will sniff out discreet afters, lock-ins, villas etc

and the west end kids are too skint, drunk or interested in copping off with each other to bother with serious music clubs

but the overall impression I get is that the authorities would rather herd people into daytime events which are easier to control and less likely to provoke complaints from the neighbours. I think this isn't unique to IBZ either... it's happening everywhere.

Es paradise and Eden both need help , or else they will die completely.

Plus the west end is not a cheap night ,,

I think it’s a hole and needs cleaning up !

Push the kids into them clubs when they are half rocking and this will encourage them to move onto bigger nights

Last year was the quietest I e seen in clubs loads of half full clubs .
This can’t continue

Nobody every goes home saying that club was great it was half full !
 
It was a shame to see Es Paradis so quiet last year, I really love this club as it's so different. I hope they manage to do something with it and not let it die off :(

I would actually be ok with that, but they are even harder on daytime events.
 
Dc10 opening earlier but closing earlier too :confused:
du 21 mai à 16:00 au 22 mai à 5:00

it was 7h00am year 17
so monday may 28th i wont miss my plane at 10h00am if the party end 5h00am, still got 3 hours to have breakfast/pack my lugage :D
opening/closing parties don't really worth anymore :( as they don't extend anymore

For Black Coffe opening may 26th its written midnight 6h00am with all those 10djs?
Elrow will be the answer :cool:

a scam Ushuaia Hi dont make opening parties & use Ants & BC as opening parties :rolleyes:

Time to give up soon the parties & doing ibz as an old Fart :lol:

I dont think its really that big a deal they stopped the afters, 6am - 4pm, I mean of course Space was amazing in the mornings, but that is over now, what else was there to do during these times, I would much rather be on a beach with a few drinks these days then go out in the evening
