Closing party Carl Cox or Pyramid?

The opening party of Carl Cox was pretty boring musically . Carl hasn’t found a new rhythm and played such an uninspiring music that we consider that party as one of the worst in our 10 day in a row partying.

Now we are coming mid September and looking at the closing party line-up we are thinking of we should give it a second chance.

The alternative is Pyramide on the same night , it has a very good line up.

Any thoughts ?
 
I am 100% in the same boat on Sunday 21st Sept, I want to do Cox, but my mind is thinking Pyramid just seems much better, I've got a Balcony ticket held. My only dilmema is my flight is at 12:50pm on Monday, so I can't get too on it! :P

pyramid will certainly be less packed than coxy.

decide on music taste and on how important it is for you to have space to dance & move around I'd say…

then again obviously unvrs is new so totally understand people wanna go and see & experience it!

I can't get over that clip of Cox playing that samba tune recently but if that keeps the masses away from the good parties like Saga, I'm all for it 😂

Haven't you answered your own question there? :) Why would you go back? You already checked out UNVRS and Carl won't play dramatically different only weeks later.

Reluctantly, I have to say Unvrs, even though I don’t really like much about that place, the lineup is definitely better. On those dates, the Pyramid party isn’t much to write home about! But as other users suggested, choose based on your own musical taste. For sure, this year’s Coxy (at that new venue) is playing to the kind of crowd it has in front of it…

For me I care more about dancing & raving all night that's my priority, with Cox the whole world will be on the main dancefloor (not a bad thing) but I love my space. I still might do Unvrs Fri or Sat.
 
I thought last Sunday UNRS clips on Instagram showed pockets of space around when Carl & Ilario were DJing so maybe it’s calming down a bit? I think it was a strong Pyramid line up though ?

Pyramid does look stronger, i'll wait till I land to make my final decision. I personal think Amensia will be for the real ravers..
 
We decided to opt for Amnesia on the same day.

The reason is the opening party which was very boring musically . The great line up but they played such a boring music . Carl is definitely not in sync with the latest trends . .
 
I still got my ticket for Pyramid, I still believe I am making the right decision despite others I know all going to Cox, sure I can make new friends on the dancefloor.
