closing parties or opening parties. which are better?

Personally I slightly prefer Openings. The island is all fresh and shiny and new, you always get a really good crowd, the clubs are busy but there is room to dance, you get some of the best line-ups and the weather is always gorgeous :D

September has all of the above but the weather can be a bit hit and miss and for some of the really big Closings eg. We Love, it gets ridiculously rammed.

That said, I always do both ;)
 
I prefer the openings too. It's the start of the summer, like Babs said, everything is shiny and new... new clubs, new tunes, new nights etc. Plus the weather is better IMO.
Plus when you do the closings, once they're over, it's like the end of the summer :cry: You get home and it's October, whats to look forward to then? At least when you get home in June you've got nice weather, festivals, beer gardens etc :D
 
June - however once you have been the thought of not going back for another year like the feeling a kid has when he has to wait a year for a toy he really wants :cry:

Ditto. Openings rule. But it's torture knowing the season is still going on and you won't make it back until next year.
