Closing Parties 2007

G'day guys, am planning a trip from Australia to Ibiza and would love to go to closing parties. Does anyone know when they will be this year? ps. am loving reading the forums from the Spotlight Community! I have learnt so much already!!

Have a check on the calender in clubbing section - dates havent even been released yet (usually around April) but you can sort of work it from last year's calendar.....

last years calendar has gone.


Space will close 30/09/07
DC10 will close 01/10/07

Theres not an awful lot after that save for a few afterparties, hope that helps

(someone shoot me down if im wrong)

You're right but missed one (imo) essential last afterparty which is the real FINAL party to attend: Closing @ Blue Marlin!

closing? what closing? what you call the "closing" is not the actual closing..... blue marlin remained open daily till january 13th:

the same happens with el ayoun..... everybody talks about its closing with S.O.S. after dc10, when this year for example it closed on october 7th ! !

i get my 08 holiday entitlement in october, so i've taken the first week off in october. i reckon the lure of a few extra days partying and a cheapy hotel may be on the cards 8)

Jesus man, I know (and you're right), what I meant is the closing party of the clubbingseason. Well maybe closing is not the best word for it but you can't deny that last years party was THE closing for a lot of people who were there. It definitely was the last party for a lot of people who were there. Man, it was on october 3rd! How much closing does it have to be? And I know, Blue Marlin didn't actually close but the season did. That's what I meant, in that way (and how I experienced it), it was a closing party for a lot of people.

And for El Ayoun, I have to take your word for that. I can't say anything about it because I wasn't there. You're absolutley right, don't get me wrong but Blue Marlin was the closing of the closing weekend. In my opinion that is :D
 
Now that I read my reply carefully it's pretty much unreadable..

To be short: What I meant was not the actual closing of Blue Marlin but the closing of the season. There I said it. The same as my previous reply but with a lot less words haha!
 
What do you guys think is better... the club nights closing parties ie. Judgement Sundays, Cream, Subliminal... or the clubs themselves like Space, Amnesia, Eden??? I think I would like the club closing parties better.. will see for myself next year. This year will just be a quick trip out in June :)
