Source pizpombi ... Get on the terrace people!

Source of that info is a reliable source. Moreover, DC 10 has got a licence for a 200 people capacity. I really don't think they will be able throw the party inside. DC 10 would be shut down by the police in a few minutes. That's why they had to get a special permission for the parking outside (at least a part of it) ;)

I think that sounds like a logical move.
It's an easy way to get in one big party to close out this season.
Then spend the winter trying to get a real license, if they can.

You have to admire Circo Loco though for being loyal to DC10 all throughout this. Look at Cocoon in 2007, Amnesia gets shut down for 2-3 weeks so they move to Privilege. Circo Loco could have done the same and moved to someone else but they haven't. Respect to them.

i wonder though how many people will turn up in 6th October...

i´ll be there

Ya, but I think Cocoon made a deal with Amnesia about that. I don't think they just up and moved for a couple of weeks. There was some logic to it as everyone knew they'd be back in Amnesia.

Furthermore, that Cocoon was one of the best I've been to!

interview from last year:
ibiza voice spoke exclusively to circoloco's andrea pelino,

"circo loco was born in dc10
and it's not going to another club,
never, ever.

If dc10 is closed circoloco is closed."

Permit Problems

Last week the Island Council announced that it would be difficult for DC-10
to obtain the necessary licenses to re-open.

The club was shut down last year after a two-year battle with the authorities
for exceeding their legal capacity, and has not opened during the 2009 season.

The owners have tried over the last two years to obtain licenses which would see
several extensions to the club made legal, something which is proving difficult.
According to the Town Hall the club has a license for the main building
and a covered terrace, but all the additions which have been made over the years,
have been carried out without the necessary permits.

Island Councillor Miquel Ramon insisted last week that the decision
had not yet been made, and that his administration had asked the owners of the club
for more information.
However, he said the mere fact the building stood within an area classified as rustic,
and so close to the ses Salinas natural park,
made it difficult for a license to be granted.

The club was closed back in October 2008 after the Town Hall of San Jose
decided the establishment would have to comply with the latest in a long line
of sanctions it had received.
Unfortunately, the last was a €300,000 fine and closure for one year.
This followed a brief closure at the beginning of the year.

The entire list of judicial decisions revolved around the 65 person capacity
the club has, a number which is exceeded every time it opens.

The issuing of a license was the only realistic hope of the club ever opening again,
something which is now looking ever less likely.

Meanwhile, the Town Hall rejected a proposal on Thursday to allow clubs
to open longer hours.
They are currently able to open for 14 hours,
while music venues are allowed two hours more.
However, the option has been thrown out, with Councillor Paquita Ribas
claiming legislation across the island was now in place which has been agreed
by all of the Town Halls, and now would not be the right time to break this consensus.
