Circo Loco @ DC10

I can't belive the finally have seats at DC10 :D :D

Will be there this monday and cannot wait. Does your 35 Euros entrance still get you a drink?

I am happy about the lack of minimal too personally as I prefer techno and house music any day 8)
 
No minimal at DC10 anymore???.... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! 8) :D

The music can be great (some Circo Loco DJs are rubbish). But in my view it's just a room with messy people and great DJs.

Too right.

The club is a dump, and its frequented nowadays by ****ing idiots. almost 24/7.

People only go because of its repuation as an edgy club, in reality its a sweaty room, full of twats that think its cool to be ****ed on K.

I went in 2001, 2003 and last year. The change from 2001 could not be any more different. Its now FULL of attitude. The music policy is more main stream and its living off a reputation as somewhere where you can get ****ed and that its cool to be out of your face.

It started out brilliantly offering something different, but inherently the same as Space - that being somewhere to party outside with no attitude and no rules.

Now its famous for having people with eyes rolling in the back of their heads and convulsing on the floor after too much K - and for some reason people think thats a good thing.

Like the poster said - call a spade a spade - its a ****hole thats been going downhill for years. You can still have good nights there but they're few and far between.

The think I hate the most about it, is the stupidity in promoting itself as an "underground" club, while at the same time knocking out 35 euro tickets, sellign drinks at exorbitant prices and changing what it is famous for to make a profit.

I just think its an over rated dive thats promoted by 3rd year workers who think they're too cool for school
 
probably the best party on the island although i agree with the post about the dicks in there for the opening party, there were some right idiots.

i go to DC10 for the past 4 years, i go there for the music and djs! i hate those people on K coz they think they are the coolest people on the island....they are wrong! the Club had such a vibe last summer when superfreq was one, it was almost unbelivable! i loved it, went there more than circoloco! and 35 euros....too expensive for DC10!

sorry I don't know if the 35EURO ticket still gets you a drink. I didn't pay 8)

personally I much prefer some of the other nights dc10 has on - Tania Vulcano's Pandemonium for example. You don't get so many big names but they are usually free or cheap to get in (for example last sat had a night at dc10 for 10Euros with lots of more underground minimal djs) and it's a much better party in my opinion. But i don't really like the big commercial clubs like space amnesia and pacha at ALL any more... think i'm too old for all of that :!:

Furry muff! :? Each to their own of course!

I had one of the best day/nights of my life there last year on the 2nd July and trust me I've shopped around in the clubbing world.(not meaning to sound bigheaded, honest) It's what you make of it at the end of the day! As long as theres a group of you enjoying yourselves it is possible to ignore the dickeads. Even though I didn't see any last year and am hoping it will be the same this year.

Something so good and so underground was eventually gonna end up going a bit overground.

Roll on September 22nd I say :):)

Check you out ;) :lol: I miss being able to get guestlist but its the price I have to pay for being a holiday maker rather than a worker :( If anyone else knows whether you get a drink, we usually hide our booze outside anyway :lol:

I know what people are saying about the club having some idiots in it, but I do belive it is wjat you make of it. I have seen some slightly grim things there but I have also had some of the best days/nights of my life there so I am willing to ignore anyone that may be acting like an arse and enjoy it with the people who are there to enjoy it too 8)
 
I don't know why they call it liquid E.

It's a muscle relaxant. Your heart is a muscle. Relax it too much and it stops- not good.

I've seen a few people on the floor as a result of taking that poison.

it's indeed a relaxant but for ... horses!!! This is heavy stuff! Imagine wath a dose can do with a human. I have seen many people going down on liquid xtc, mostly without big consequences but the border is very tin. Think twice when using this drug.
