Circo Loco @ DC10

from my point of view, i have to say its the CRAZIEST PARTY on the island! music is just perfect, the people enjoy themselves and the atmosphere is out of this world! my opinion is: JUST GO! :):spank:

It's a great party outside, but I think it's overrated.

I've enjoyed myself with a gang of people, but went last year in a pair and it wasn't as fun. Didn't help that a couple of guys wanted to accost me in the toilets. Then there was a fight between two clubbers, a row between bouncers and a clubber, people falling all over the place, guys having arguments with their shadows.

The music can be great (some Circo Loco DJs are rubbish). But in my view it's just a room with messy people and great DJs.

It's an experience but let's call a spade a spade.

I love DC10, opening was amazing but couldnt help notice that there were some idiots in there. I went in a bit of fancy dress, wig and beard - and a gang of italian lads started banging into me on in the terrace, taking it in turns to smash into me!!!!! Then outside, two lads came up to me and started slapping me across the beard and my face trying to provoke a reaction. I later seen these lads try the same trick with some other guy and he lost the plot with them and dragged them out of the exit!!!!!!

It's a shame as otherwise, it was an amazing party!

Yeah it is a bit of a freakshow at times isn't it?
Really good tunes and you won't get a party like that anywhere else in the world.
When it gets really busy it's like a game of human pinball! 8O

I think it was at it's best roundabout '05 when Loco Dice and Villalobos were playing minimal there on the regular. They've since moved onto play for Cocoon and from what I've heard the music policy is alot more housier now.

Aint been since '06 so might head back sometime soon...

Sounds terrible. Who goes to parties just to antagonize other people? Doesn't make any sense.

A DC10 Kodak Moment

I remember the first time I went to DC10. It was the summer of '01 and a bunch of tough looking guys threw cocaine on a table and began sniffing it up. Then some old French geezer bought my drinks all day and gave me money which I took and bought drinks drinks for myself and no so nutty...others.

The weather was great and the music was amazing! I truly enjoyed the massage chair! You'll have a good (orat least nutty) time.

Yeah im not sure how im gona get on with this housier music policy , I always preferd the music inside but of course the party outside

Were there a bunch of you there?? One of you dressed like a monk?

There was a few of us there, none dressed like monks though! My mate had a yellow fluffy chicken mask on though!!

I also first went in 2001, when they played funky house during the day. I stopped mid season when there was a major issue with people getting their drinks spiked with GHB.

I was at circoloco last monday (9th June). overall it was fantastic, and still my favourite club on the island. Things that were different were....

Music policy. Much more housey, I didn't hear much minimal, which was a shame. The music really didn't feel as fresh and new as previous years. Clive Henry closed the terrace, near the end he played Buttrich's full clip - sounded fanstastic, but a 2 year old anthem. I guess i was looking forward to hearing a fresh sound - what minimal did next...

Opening times. obviously they now open at 4.30, so it didn't get busy really until 8. I was expecting the night to finish later to compensate, but it still finished at 2.30. On the whole though it was nicely busy and not too packed like the openings/closings are, not too many crazies (who do my head in a bit) but that's probably because the season hadn't kicked in.

Outside bar area. LOVED this. A great space to chill for a while which was lacking before. They even have SEATS out there.

Entrance was 35 EURO, Spirit + mixer was 10 EURO. Not bad compared to some...
