Circo Loco - DC10

but why should they install all these new stuff (windows, aircondition, roof)
if they knew that it´s the last season for them ?

Yes - if it wasn't for the amnesia/dc-10 debacle earlier this year I'd be inclined to agree.

I think all this controversy is partly clever marketing on their part...

"come to Ibiza next season because it will be our last!"

Hey Nostrum, how've you been?! :D

Still out on the island? Enjoying the last couple weeks of the season? Figured out next steps yet?

You've hit on a very good point... still going to be a great party in DC10 anytime. I guess you'll just have to bring a jacket

hola john - i'm still here, all fine and YES, after the august madness everyone here is happy september arrived and now there's room again to dance. and the real madness (closings) is coming up right now

next steps? erm...monza closing tomorrow night...or what are you talking about??:lol::lol:

about the dc10-aircon: when they put it up to full power and the terrace isn't packed yet, it's really remarkably cooler than it was before. but as soon as it's packed (and due to the fact there's windows now), its still very hot there...so you still have this sweaty dc10 feeling, don't worry ;)

Obviously the picture was shot in the early noon hours when the person who shot it arrived (no more than 1PM i imagine), and in those hours DC10 is still empty!

The experienced ones know that the best arrival time is around 16:00 - that's also when DC10 gets normally packed, and the atmosphere is starting to kick in !

Give the place a break! :D

We knew that it only got busier later on, but we were only just back from judgement sunday closing so decided a quick disco nap and then in the club for 11 would be a good shout, stayed till about half 9 and it was so busy from about 5 till we left and likely furthermore.

Really enjoyed it, completely different from the previous nights entiretainment and that made it all the better.!

If it is worse now than it was, then christ knows what it must have been like!

Spent a few hours in the back room on Monday, about 6-10ish. DJ was almost irrelevant as it was the best atmosphere I experienced when in Ibiza (prob ever). Generally very very friendy - also v mixed crowd - it appeared to be say 30% English. Mate getting propositioned for a 3some by dutch swingers was highlight!

He said no (kid on the way with his girlfriend, even if he was interested!)

Girl - stunning body. Micro skirt & transparent top. bit of a bodyfrombaywatch/facefromcrimewatch type, but, my lord a body to die for.

Man - Approx 50, big gut, balding8O8O

i think he wanted to go but was afraid of trouble
like richard gere had with this old perv in "american gigigolo" :-)

you can't compare dc10/circo loco today with what it was like back in tha....

cos it's got different music, different crowd, physically the club is different, the door tax is different, everything is different. so you can't compare apples with apples here.........

jsut for the record, it was better before when it was free in and a carry on and tribal ruled the world!!;)8)

from an 'outsider' to the scene looking in tho it's fookin amazing.:)

yeah but you can apply that to anything, and that's beside the point here.

dc10 today might be better than any club in the world (i disagree with this actually). but dc10 8 years ago was even better than that.

it's like comparing king kenny with digger

As I'm said 100x before I used to LOVE DC10 when it opened but I wouldn't go if you paid me now :spank:

Horses for courses tho and all that.

Too hot

I finally managed to get to DC10 on my 5th or 6th trip late July this year. Arrived at about 6:30 pm and took a look around before we decided to chill outside for a while as it was very crowded "inside".

Went to the terrace at about eight but by than it was just too crowded and impossible to dance anywhere. A lot more crowded than both Tiesto and PVD from my earlier years.

My guess is that is was about 50C there and combined with it being impossible to dance we left after an hour and went to Bora Bora for some hours before Cocoon in stead.

I will give it a second chance though, but will arrive a lot earlier (3 or so) and unless they increase the prices or refuse people to enter when it gets too crowded it would have to be either in June or late August+

Got to say, I first went 4 or so years ago, and it became an instant 'must-go'. I've been at least once every year and this year was the only time I've not really been into it. The music was too hard and minimal for me, but that might be my age, and the vibe, which has gradually getting more 'normal', was practically mainstream this year.

I'll still probably go next year though, just with no expectations (which I shouldn't have in the first place).
