Circo Loco - DC10

As stated above, CircoLoco and Roger Sanchez in the same day is becoming a habit of mine. Can't get more different than that! And they were among my best days on the island.

Variety - the spice of life 8)

yeaahhhh. thats a bit un fair innit? Surely a diverse range of folks is a good thing. How are you meant to convert people if they are not allowed in!

Agreed! I have possibly the most diverse taste possible when it comes to music and partying and thats what the island is all about!

I agree with the others above...The reason many of us love going back to ibiza year after year is because of the diverse music and clubs. Minimal day after day would drive me nuts... but alternate it with some cheesy house or driving techno and its what makes the island so much fun!

also, i'm no expert, but i'm not sure how many people go as early as 10 am? I could be wrong, but not sure how many people will go there that early.

We went there after wls and breakfast at 10:30am because we had our flight at 5pm and we won't want to miss a thing.
There were not many people in there that early, maybe 20 and the terrace was still closed.
Most people came in after the noon, as I also suggest to do so. ;)

35 euros on the door on Monday and NO FREE DRINK

Fcukin skanking bastads, they've increased capacity massively with the outdoor chillout area, now you can't get near either dancefloor after mid-afternoon...had a decent time on monday, but to pay 35 with no free drink is a p1sstake. They didn't even have a particularly impressive lineup...no Villalobos, no Luciano, just Damian Lazarus as a guest...
I was a bit disappointed as well by the line up. Except for Dan Ghenacia and Tania Vulcano (Did i miss Lazarus?)
It was my first time and I liked the atmosphere and the people there but i did not find the drinks particularly strond as everybody seems to say and yeah 35 quid with no drink is a bit much as well considering the line up.
Anyway i d go back but i d hope to get a better line up this time.
Cheers, ;)

Poppycock - I always say this...have been going since the beginning and it's still easily as good - just very different and less exclusive. 8)

Which is probably exactly why some people say its not as good...

Last monday i felt like the atmosphere just wasn't there....there was hen parties in there, too many people dressed up/with wigs on, loads more English than previous years, it just felt much more diluted & a far cry from what it used to be like.

The amount of people they let in was also a bit silly.....with both rooms full to bursting point/nowhere to dance, there was still a good few hundred people outside sat in the gravel/chillout area.

One of the DJs played Todd Terrys "Bounce To The Beat" at some point early evening and it was the first vocal i'd heard in over 5 hours of being there...this amused me and tellingly it was the first point at which i noticed a buzz/excitement in the crowd.

Play more vocals you cnuts!!!

Lazarus played back to back with Clive Henry from 3.30pm-6pm on the terrace. He wore a couple of different hats throughout the set and looked like he was enjoying himself immensely;)

I have to agree with you. Now I haven't been since 2005, I thought the beginning of the season (when Charlie Chester was still involved) was excellent. They played good music (with some vocals) and there were lots of hands in the air moments, then along came the pots and pans...

Now I do like a bit of minimal but not the whole fcuking night. You need a bit of variety.

I was there , there was space in the terrace u justr had to get passed the massive scrum at the doorway . Loads of room inside too . Damian Lazarus played an absolutely blinding set n put Clive Henry to shame , they were supposed to be playin back to back but Clive gave up after a while . Its true u dont get a drink with entry plus drinks prices have gone up

Well I went - and totally loved it!

Unfortunately was still suffering from the night befores partying and only lasted from about 11:30 till 7.

anyone know what the problem was with the soundsystem cutting off?

urgh - what's that roof all about?!?!? Doesn't that dilute the atmosphere?
you're right... that looks a lot different than it did in June :?

Looks like they've put in a ventilation system, though, which might not be all bad...

this roof looks terrible, as lovely as eden :-)

but why should they install all these new stuff (windows, aircondition, roof)
if they knew that it´s the last season for them ?

... hope dies last ...

Obviously the picture was shot in the early noon hours when the person who shot it arrived (no more than 1PM i imagine), and in those hours DC10 is still empty!

The experienced ones know that the best arrival time is around 16:00 - that's also when DC10 gets normally packed, and the atmosphere is starting to kick in !

Give the place a break! :D

You've missed the point entirely, Fusion.

It's not so much the party atmosphere at the particular point in time when these photos were taken.

It's the change from a semi-translucent tent-like covering to a lower, opaque ceiling with big pipes all over the place.

My guess is it will feel a little less "outdoorsy" than it did before, and perhaps a bit darker... but then again, it already had a roof and windows this year so it's not such a huge change.

It was fcukin freezing in there when i went...they had the air con on full whack. It was fairly quiet, the weather wasn't that warm outside, so the temp on the 'terrace' was far too low...

I'm sure that changed later (once they'd let far too many people in) but by then it was almost impossible to move on the terrace.

With regards to the changes, i doubt they'd have been implemented unless it was part of the changes they needed to make to keep the Guardia Civil happy...

IMO the club will be open next year (therefore the money spent/work done, wasn't pointless), the doubt is over the opening hours. They probably won't be able to open until lunchtime or someit!?!?

The place is massively diluted from what it was....and next season probably more so.
