we pay about £4.50 + a packet of 20 (6.5e ish ?). In clubs its £5 for 16!!. stupid goverment. smoking is expensive habit - ive just given up but bit silly as im surely going to start again while im on holiday ... o well who needs healthy lungs ...... I use to buy L&M lights (a packet of 20), it used to cost me 2.10 € in a tobacco machine, and now it's been increased to 2.25 €. And if I'm not wrong a packet of 20 Marlboro cigarettes cost now about 2.85 €.
But it looks like it's still much cheaper than in the UK.

).Yes, they are much more expensive in the UK. When I was in London, 6 or 7 years ago, ciggies here were around 200 ptas and around 1000 in there.
By the way. Do you guys and gals think that light cigarettes are worse than normal ones? There's a lot of people who tell that despite 'lights' have less nicotine and tar, they add other products even more harmful to keep their flavor (someone told me ammonia for instance).
