CHICKS ON SPEED - BIOGRAPHY

CHICKS ON SPEED. SYDNEY-BORN ALEX MURRAY-LESLIE, NEW YORKER MELISSA LOGAN AND KIKI MOORSE FROM MUNICH MET BEHIND THE MUNICH ART ACADEMY IN 1997 AND STARTED AS AN ART PROJECT THAT HAS GRADUALLY MERGED INTO THE MEDIUM OF MUSIC.

On their website (http://chicksonspeed-records.com) it says the Manumission date will be a live show featuring Anat Ben-David (below).

Think it was a Chilli Pepper gig I was at when Chicks on Speed got booed off! - James Brown came on after though and done his thang 8)

Gutted I missed Garnier in August. Till all his set went out on Radio one.
Then twice as gutted when found out he came on again afterwards and none of it was recorded :(

REALLY fancied DC10 closing, the only reason I was going to go Ibiza this year. Bit disappointed I can't make it. Dont think im bitter though?
Will have a word with myself... And if Dr Mick could please prescribe a flight over on October 3rd on the NHS it will be much appreciated ;) :lol:

I remember hearing about that gig! They sound really amateur live; no wonder they got booed off. The video installation was nice, though. Le Tigre would be great, but only if they play more of their older stuff like "Deceptacon" and "Hot Topic".
