Cheapest way for euros?

What's the best (IE cheapest) way of getting euros?

Travellers cheques?
Exchange cash for Euros before I go? If so, where's best?
Taking money from cash points there (Barclays debit card!)?

What are you lot doing this year?!

If you get a Nationwide flex account card they don't charge you the 4% fee's barclays & co. do on cash machine withdrawls

Cash machines are the easiest way, but they often run out of money plus if you are a bit the worse for wear, you can quite easilly get out far more than you budgeted for.

Also, if you lose your card, you're a bit stuffed.

I always take Switch, Visa and Traveller's cheques for the first few days to be on the safe side.
