chat room?

has anyone ever tried to start a chat room for us spotlighters?

Could be a good move as its easier to get to know people imo.

Or has it ben tried and failed..

IRC is a good way if peeps are interested..
 
I remember I asked the same about 2 years ago, but the people in general preferred a forum only. Maybe now there's more people who want a chat room.

might be a good idea specially when the season is on..

So much to talk about, plus it would add to the bulid up of everyones trip over there..

What does everyone else think?
 
Ok if i get 10 yes's i'll set one up on IRC

or if someones got a better place to do it please let me know..
 
its worth a try i suppose but i prefer forums to real time chat cause the conversations last days. youd miss things in a chat room! besides i, as well as most other spotlighters use the forum at work, and cant sit in irc for hours, so forums are suitable in that sense too. my guess is, your irc channel will sit empty most of the time with maybe up to ten idlers at best, but feel free to prove me wrong :D

The room is called ibiza-spotlighters

we'll give it a go see how it goes might get busy whilst the season is on.
