have a look at our old party calendars and compare number of events happening on wednesdays over the last few years. 5 parties in 2008, 12 parties this year (excluding channel zoo and all the boat parties).
you could actually do this with every single day of the week.

the paint day has always been saturday. and saturdays are going as strong as ever.

Na, don't think so. One will gain and one will loose.
But why should the One with a profit reduce prices and earn less?
The Ones who loose can't afford to reduce prices in order to limit their loss. They would rather quit completely given the others the possibility to enhance their prices.
