liverpool wont win the 2nd leg judging by juve's second half performance, quality goals though ;)

Ive seen Juve in their 2 games against Real Madrid and yesterday, and their not a great team. Take away Nedved, and they have no decent creative players. (Piero well past it, Abrahimovic very hit n miss, and Trezeguet still to convince)

Had Real Madrid been in any sort of form they wouldve knocked them out in the last round. Real even took them to extra time!! (Which says a lot)

Liverpool should still feel confident in my opinion. Specially if they get Alonso back
If Juve DO get through, both Chelsea or Bayern should beat them.

But hey football is all about opinions!! :D

i looked at the pools team sheet last night and thought, what a shit team, who are these people there gonna lose, luckily they didnt but they are gonna get whipped in italy 8)

What a goal from old Barca boy Garcia!! The reds can still do it I think

Sorry, ive changed my mind since last night.. Come on Bayern..!! ;)
Agreed on that first point... Liver looked mighty, especially in the first half.

On the second point, you are seriously misguided

Chelsea will win tonight. 1-0. :D

I decided not to fly in for tonight's game (couldn't really justify it, work-wise) and now I'm so sad I didn't! I would have thrown something at the ref for that entirely baseless penalty!!!

Nevertheless, 4-2 is not a bad result and we're in good shape for the 2nd leg.

See you at the Bridge Bar after the Birmingham game, or at MoS for NDSM

See you in there mate, still got a beer in there with your name on it... from last time I wenrt up there! ;)

I think that beer will go straight to me as he said he'd buy me one if Chelsea knocked out Barca.. ;)

Good result for Chelsea, thought you played very well... once Bayern equalised. Why does it take to concede a goal for teams to start playing well??

Same reuslt as the Barca game, only I think we played better and deserved more than Bayern... :D

did anyone notice ray parlour on the bench for bayern
I did, it was uncanny!!

It mustve been freezing at Stamford Bridge last night, that poor Chelsea coach had to wear a hat..

I see that UEFA have now admitted that Rykard (Sp?) DID actually speak to Frisk, all the way from the tunnel to the referees room, exactly as claimed by the Chelsea staff

No wonder Mourihno was so incensed by the ban and interesting that this has only just been released by UEFA.

I saw that... proof that UEFA had it in for Chelsea all along... and that Rijkaard is a lier!
