Champions League - Matchday 2

Photo looks like a thing for charity or something, if it does transpire he used to support Rangers and go to their games and now he supports us then ill have lost all respect for him, it simply cannot be done.8O

its like some kind of parallel universe this.

lost all respect as he changes the team he supports?

I mean is it really that important. I mean come on?!

From reading Pikey68's posts it appears that he is your average Irish Celtic supporter, i.e in for the glory and sectarianism. Pay no heed is my advice

You're right, of course, but I was just thinking of how you all would absosmurfly crucify me if I switched support from Chelsea to Arsenal!

by the grace of good lord one day you will make that error & yes, you will never live it down! But JM as far as it can exist in internet land you will always have my 'respect' irrespective of which bunch of boys in shorts you cheer on - whatever the hell that word 'respect' means? always seems to be a a gift bestowed by the sanctimonious, but anyway...

BUT, as a general point I struggle to identify with the bonkers side of footy. I have 'friends', who in seven years of living in Manchester, have never been to see me - why .... because its 'full of mancs'.8O:lol:

Pour Monsieur 68!;)

It's true - plucky little teams can sometimes win knockout competitons (even if there is a group stage). That's the beauty of cup football. They'd obviously get mullered over a full season in a proper league but it's great for neutrals and the small teams' fans.8)

Similarly Celtic's plucky fightback to recover from a 1-0 deficit against the mighty Gretna Green this weekend, scoring two in the last five minutes no less. How Thierry Henri must regret his decision, after much serious consideration, not to grace the Scottish league.
