I had seratonin receptors once. Them were the days.

I saw something on this, it seemed to me while reading it that they must have killed the donor mice because it didn't really explain where the donor cells came from.

Stem cells come from embryos, so the cells most likely came from not-yet-living (depending on your point of view) mice.

Aussie legislation will allow embryos to be grown for 14days before being destroyed, the reasoning being that before that time the cells have not yet 'committed' to becoming a foetus.
