Hi Folks, I had a quick look but couldn't find anything about the casino in ibiza town. Can anyone give me a heads up as to the stakes on the poker and if there's a dress code? ie do I need to take my tux?

Thanks.

I reckon if you turn up in jeans and a teeshirt they would still be willing to take your money off you.... tux?....

LOL I know, I got it off ebay for £12 for a fancy dress. It looks smart though :D
So you reckon I'll be ok with speedo's and flip flops?

To be honest I know nothing about the casino, have not even looked at neilly's link, but I reckon a smart casual shirt (even in pink) and chinos would be acceptable..:)

I think that you are right. I have only ever eaten in the restaurant there, but I do vaguely remember that there was a dress code on the door to the gaming rooms; nothing too strict though. At the end of the day they want your money.

Okay I copied this from a different site

Features
Banquet Hall ("Casino Restaurant" 100 people)
Bar
Currency Exchange (foreign currency exchange in game room)
Dress Code (Proper Dress (but jacket and tie not required))
Entrance Fee (EURO 10.00)
Gardens
ID/Passport Required
Language Spoken (Spanish)
Nearby Airport (Ibiza, 5 km)
Nightclub (two shows nightly)
Piano Bar (live music from 11pm)

Doesn't say anything about minum bets but could be anything between 5 and 50 euro...

Why don't you e-mail them direct?

I have been to Casino

Hi,

I went to the Casino last year.

It's OK but lacks atmosphere big time, went there at about 12 and it was dead (thursday night).

You can't wear 3/4 lengths or flip flops FYI. You need your passport too.

I think min bet on blackjack was 5 euros or something, there was only blackjack and roulette open plus all the slots.

It's maybe worth a visit if you have nothing else planned but it certainly won't be the highlight of your trip.

casino

im ashamed of myself ive just got back from las vegas and nobody told me that im a hooker chasing deadbeat with no imagination and a money obsesion :( regards Stu

Pay no heed Stu, one thing your not is money obsessed deadbeat with no imagination, the sort that pursues hookers late at night. You are a well travelled intellectual individual whom we share many happy hours with! In fact 'late a night' your falling asleep in Peps!! Only 21 days8)
