Casa Thai

Spoke to some friends in Ibiza last night and were generally chatting....anyway to the point....we always used to go to Casa Thai like 3 times a week and I asked if everyone had been there lately all together....anyway the guy I was talking to said that it had been shut for 2 months or so and didn't know why???

Does anyone know why it is closed or are they just on holiday? :?
 
I hope not, it was a brilliant place.

Ridiculously cheap and great for dj-spotting.
 
probably on holiday. many bars, restaurants and shops shut at this time of the year as business is quite slow after christmas and new year.
the wife and i drove round san an the other week looking for somewhere to eat and so many places were closed. it's the same story in ibiza town too, but they'll all start to reopen by the beginning of march.
 
OK, cool! I wasn't going to come back if it wasn't open again! Hehe! :lol: I remember it was open this time last year though - the staff in there are workaholics!!!

I couldn't quite believe it myself but I certainly remember the feeling of driving around looking for somewhere to be open last Jan! 8O Crayzeeeeeeeeeeeee! :lol:

About 500 metres from the petrol station on the roundabout as if you were going right :arrow: to the bay! My map skills aint the best to say the least - SORRY! :?

Kinda.... :roll: ...but not really! :roll: Its as if you were on the road Dr. Fleming (the big one that runs outside Es Paradis and go straight on :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: and over the roundabout by the petrol station and then straight on and on :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: :arrow: and its on your right!!!! ;)

imagine you leave secret garden (you dirty man :P ) and you want to go for a drink to san josé.......... after the roundabout you will find at your right a gas station, a cars place, a brothel, a block of apartments and then that thai restaurant :!:

hey lou, did your spanish chums tell you that they recently opened casa thai 2? :P

its in c. isidoro macabich where the azul restaurant used to be (underneath the azul apartments / next to the guay bar / opposite the linus gym)!! :idea:
