carl cox @ space

Ermmmm...one of the best club nights in Ibiza i'd venture to say. Top venue, quality guest dj's every week plus of course the big man himself, Carl Cox.It does get busy naturally but you kind of expect that from the top nights at Space. Would definately give it a go !
 
nice one. finally got ma chance to see him and darren emerson the other week at loch lomond and he was immense, defo give this a shot then!
 
i went on 17th july for the opening party. one of the best nights i had. it was very buisy but still had room to dance not like hed kandi at el divino.

Id say so. but Cox is only on for an hour (or he was the past 2 weeks) from 11 til 12, but awesome anyway!

Armada is fantastic too, so a night where you do both would be funking brilliant!

space have just emailed me back as i asked them if danny tenaglia was confirmed for space on 25th september, well they just said yes he is and he is a guest at the closing party of carl cox's nite.

i dont understand this cos i thought his closing party was a few weeks before this date. as stated in the party calendar of ibiza spotlight. im chuffed though cos il be there for this nite, they said it starts from 8pm - 6am

anyone else heard anything?

about the danny tenaglia thing...yeah that's interesting. according to spotlight the closing party is when i go, on sep11. maybe it's an encore party, haha.

anyone with more info?

its quite weird how space have emailed me back saying cox is playing that nite with danny as guest. just hope its true. this date is confirmed on danny's website but not cox's yet

il be going anyway even if its just tenaglia but cox aswell? thats the mother of all P.A.R.T.Y 's
 
im pretty sure he always has an additional 1 or 2 nights after his advertised "closing night". we have gone a few times when it has been the closing party and then it has been on again the next week.

its one of the best partys on the island though. will be going to the advertised "closing party" this year and lauren garnier is playing. the first time i have seen one of my favourite dj's in ibiza!!!

Makes sense doesn't it - if the club is empty, there are people wanting to hear him play, and he has the will/energy why not re open for a sesh - perhaps for the huuuger nights the closing is a mark in sand?
 
Have you got the body of the text you received?Because I read it as dt will play on 24th, as well as carl cox closing 2 weeks previus. DT, Carl Cox and Laurent, dreamy....

we have no news about carl cox extending his season, but it could happen - space is running a week later than usual this year, so would be an excellent bonus!

was there last night until 3, michel de hey was brilliant in the main room. absolute quality techno.
 
Oooo, I'm liking the sound of this. I'll be there on the 18th for Tenaglia. If Cox plays too that will just be too sweet.

Excellent music and lights.

It was totally rammed when I went last year. I managed to lose my friends in the first half hour and just gave up looking for them as it was almost impossible to move anywhere.

Atmosphere-wise, it was a bit too English and borderline chavvy for me at times. I prefer to be around a cooler Euro crowd when in Space.

Still, its a great night. 8)
