Hey folks,

Just got this years adventure to the white isle sorted and have noticed that the Carl Cox opening night takes place during our stay. Now i have seen Carl many times before and he is always on fire! I have never seen Danny Tenaglia though and was wondering what he was like, i.e music style/entertainment value etc

They are playing b2b, will this be on the terrace or inside? Should be a super night, see you there!


Also looking forward to seeing Steve Angello at Pacha, imo one of the best around at the moment!

danny t = dj's dj, been around forever and always likely to totally mix things up a bit with an unexpected tune.

in general his style is tribal/tech house but expect anything from the gypsy kings to sunkissed house to the beatles to old skool techno.............i've heard him play the lot;) :D
 
Tenaglia is one of the best, saw him a couple of times at space last year and he does like to mix it up, he finished by playing 'I will survive' after initial surprise the crowd loved it. Not sure how back to back with carl cox is going to go, it could work really well or it may not. I saw Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox play back to back a couple of years ago and Cox kept banging it out while Garnier was playing his style of Techno (which i was loving!) just seemed a bit disjointed to me, hope that doesnt happen this time. Btw I think Cox and Garnier are doing the same this year.
 
I saw CC & DT @ Twilo (New York) in the winter of 2001. It was supposed to be a back to back, and there was a point when they were both in the dj booth at the same time. Most of the time they played on their own. Neither of them played any techno, really, "just" progressive house.

And the place was absolutely rammed and the bouncers didn't let anyone sit anywhere except in the about ten seats that existed in the club for 2000 people. Heres hoping that it will be more comfortable at Space. Techno would also be very much appreciated at least occasionally during the night :D

Also cant wait for the WLS 16/07/06 now its all been announced. I've seen most the the djs playing before but never seen Layo n Bushwacka & 2 Many DJ's. What are they like?
