I always hire a car when in ibiza and 90% of the time i go through doyouspain. I have always found them to be ok until i went to book this years motor. I chose use AVIS through DYS and it wasn't until i confirmed the booking i was told the cost of the deposit. bearing in mind i took out all the extra insurances, windows ,wheels etc the deposit i was told i would have to leave was nearly 1500 euros!!!!

Well i have cancelled that so could anyone recommend any where better and not such a ridiculous deposit.

Thanks

I have found out that it depends on the hire car rental price example ( Hertz price for 2 weeks £350 and 600 Euro loading for any damage ) Buget price £250 for 2 weeks with 1200 Euro loading for damage ) but if you have insurance for car hire covering excess and the other things which the normal insurance does not cover , most excess ins will cover up to £3000 or even more so which ever way you look at it you cant be out of pocket , unless you dont have the excess ins which then you could be in sh1t street get it before you go DONT GET THE HIRE CAR COMPANY ONE or this will cost a arm and a leg
try these for price

I'm sure some of you will hate that...

government is currently studying to limit the amount of rental cars in the balearics.

while I understand that at first glance this would have a number of undesirable effects for holidaymakers (no availability at some point, rental prices going up), in the long haul I think it's the only way to avoid a collapse in traffic in peak season. on the upside it would also mean that public transport would have to be improved with more bus connections.

Heaven forbid they would put on a direct route PDB to San An to PDB

ok just checked myself. there is one (in summer only), but it sadly only starts mid-afternoon. it's basically one of the discobus routes and this line operates from 4pm until 6am. this route should absolutely run from earlier onwards as many people from both resorts would take it to spend a day at the other resort.

I used Hiper last year and would really recommend them, they never asked for a deposit even though the website we booked through said they would ask for one. Service was great, got a free upgrade!
