Car hire

the cheapest deals you often cant choose which company unfortunately as brokered by ppl like moneysupermarket etc. Ive never had a bad experience and have been given Centauro , Goldcar and BK over the years

On a related note, I have just paid for a deposit for Car Hire through Spotlight for the opening week, which is the first time I've ever done this. Maybe its me getting on (!) but I want to explore the island a little more in our spare days.
So with this in mind, could any Spotlight Veterans give me a quick guide on the best sights to do on each day? For example, 7 unmissable sights/beaches/restaurants for 7 days?
Would be much appreciated!
Thanks...

I used Ok Car Rentals last year who I thought were very good. I got a decent price for an SUV through the DoYouSpain site too.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
Do you think it's worthwhile taking the car for the duration or the holiday, or just the quieter days?

Hi, my first post!
In the past I have used www.kayak.co.uk to search for best rates.
Last September I hired a car through Atesa, £20 a day for a Seat Altea. (Got an upgrade due to being out of stock on the budget car I originally booked)
I usually avoid Holiday Autos and Gold car due to the amount of bad revues!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

when I still came to ibiza on holiday (before I moved here) I always had the car for the entire duration of the holiday. even if there was sometimes a day when I didn't use it, I just loved the fact that I always had a car available and ready when I felt like going anywhere. that's the beauty of ibiza, due to the small island you can easily go somewhere really spontaneously. on other islands with bigger distances you plan ahead and pin exactly in what you wan to visit. with ibiza you can just jump in the car, drive 15-20mins and you're there when you feel like it!

Hiper - I usually email them for a quote. They don't block a deposit on your credit card, they just take payment by credit card, and are reasonable, and will also give you a full - full fuel policy if you ask too. I've had two bumps as well and never an issue. I usually email them direct for a quote - reservas@hiper-rentacar.com

As Stivi said, its good to have a car the whole time, but sometimes its just a waste. One year we drove from the airport to San An as it was cheaper than two taxis, and never used it again until we went back to the airport a week later. Depends how messy you're holiday is likely to be. If I know the first few days are gonna be write offs, I usually leave the hire car till 2 or 3 days into the holiday, then get a bus or taxi to the airport to pick it up so I can drop off there when I'm going to get my flight.

Hi all, I have booked a car from Hiper via economycarrentals.com however I can see from Hiper's website they are open till 8pm whereas my arrival is around 10. Any idea how the things work in such situations? thx
