car hire prices nearly doubled this year??

Last year, HiperCar was a nightmare. More than 4 hours wait!!!! It ruined our first day (and then we realized that Bora Bora was closed!)

funny enough:

friends friend arrived in ibiza on 16.07., had an envelope with Hipercars printed on. Waited for the transfer bus, finally got to the Hipercar office across the street (the bus is a laugh *g*) - huge queue, waited in the sun for almost 2 hours. Finally got to the counter, opens the envelope, gives the voucher to the clerk, who has ONE look at it and says "no no, Centauro".

Yep - a Centauro voucher

They went over to the airport again and it took like 5mins at the Centauro counter

i got betacar through hispacar. 10 minutes to pick up the car, 10 minutes to drop it off. they said nothing about the massive dent in the side either

A few words of advice...

DO NOT use Hiper Car - Amigo Autos use them - prepare for a 2hr wait for your car in the blazing sun

I would love to hear that they have sorted this out for 2005...... but I doubt it

I second that emotion - that was the worst start to an Ibizan holiday ever last September - there was nearly a riot!!!!!!!!
