Car hire from Ibiza airport - ??

So then I am looking at using hiper as it is so cheap :lol:
What is the problem with full to full tanks? If I get it full and return it full then is this the only petrol I pay? Or is there hidden extras in there?

One to three days, return full. Four or more days take away full, return empty.

hiper - cheap?????? it's more expensive than the most i looked.

doyouspain = 449 euros
economy ca rental = 436 euros
jet2 car hire = 296 pounds

hiper = 635 euros

Most of them are "doing a Ryanair" with hidden charges, Got a hire car at the mo, Ford Fiesta D, A week is 70 € for the car & 71€ for the fuel which is near impossible to use, That`s what they are making the "extra" on,
Also beware of paying up-front for the hire, As mentioned it is only the main drivers cards they will take and NOT cash, (fuel and extra insurance is paid on arrival)
If you were to turn up on a Friday night and for some reason your card`s will not work, Unless you can get em working in 2 days, you lose the car and anything you have paid (3 weeks hire paid in advance in my mate`s case recently)

All the 3 you mentioned are brokers. They will likely be selling one of the local firms (Goldcar/BK/Hiper/AurigaCrown etc.) which you find out once you've prepaid or part-prepaid (i.e. their commission). Just watch the T&Cs - they're often (but not always) vague on extras and especially out of hours & fuel charges as they usually try to hide the underlying supplier to stop you booking direct. Out-of-hours fees and buying an overpriced 120Euro tank of fuel can add significantly to the overall real cost.

It varies hugely depending on what cars they have left and what month you rent. I got a car from Hiper in April for about £10 a day on a pick-up full / return full deal. Trying not to state to obvious you just have to shop around for what's best for your particular dates/needs and how far in advance you're booking. Same with hotels and flights.

Just read the above post, flying out tomorrow and considering copying the above. Can you pull up outside the airport departure part and pick someone up from where the taxis are?

Thanks in advance

Just booked with bravohire thanks for the tip. Got 10 days with 2 drivers for £157 and return tank full policy next cheapest was hiper but with pay for full tank so looking at £200 for 10 days.
Will report back on what they were like when I get back.

Just used Goldcar, which are out next to BK, ie minibus trip.

Plus Points:
Almost new car, we doubled the mileage (or kilometrage?) in our 11 days.
Price

Negative Points:
Slow service on both pick-up and drop-off, at the counter.
Buy full/return empty (in 11 days we did 3/4 of a tank)
€600 deposit, even if you have taken insurance through your broker. (Any damage will be charged, then you claim back through the broker insurance).
No AMEX, deposit has to be on a card of the main driver (I believe only credit cards, debit cards not accepted).

If the above doesn't bother you then they are a good choice, a few years ago I would have been happy with them, but now with 2 young kids I would pay more and go for the easier/better service.

Will say it wasn't just us having problems, when I arrived the other 3 groups there were in various stages of arguments with the staff, who seem to accept that their role is as a buffer between customers and management. Can imagine in high season very long wait times.
