Has anyone here?? Opinions please??

It is one of the venues that we might have our wedding and reception but I've not been there myself yet so any opinions greatfully received.

Thanks :D

I've been to Cap Del falco, is that where Smoking Jo had a few parties??

Yep she did. Did you just go for drinks then and not food?? They have sent me the menus and it all looks very nice, it's always good to get first hand opinion tho.

Well you weren't much help when I asked you were you   ;)

yes i was, i said codolar was a very nice spot, perfect for you and had nice sunsets.

forget it, if this is what you're like to people in your gang, then i don't wanna be in it. i'm back off to the special six.

Go back to your special 6, you belong with them

hi sar,

been there a few times. the restaurant is very nice and the whole place is very laidback. i like it there. sunsets are also great - especially in autumn, when you really see the sunset there!

concerning the food, we had two different experiences: in 2005 we once had lunch there and the food was absolutely awesome, brilliant, perfect!
in 2006 we had dinner there and then it unfortunately was only very average. and the sevice then was very, very slow. we really waited long that night and when i complained after dinner the boss told me they're short of waiters, so maybe we were only unlucky that night. but also the cuisine didn't convince me that much anymore, not as in 2005 when it was really perfect. (i think the management and chef changed). well, as i really like the place i definitely will give CDF another chance next year...but they better pamper me then!

Thankyou, that's a great help :D

Cap de falco would be a fantastic venue for a wedding. We only discovered it this year and it is one of the very best places to watch the sunset imo. You get more than 180 degree view across over the salt pans, beach, sea and away up to es vedra. We didn't eat there, but the menu and the food on other people's plates looked very very good. I can recommend the sangria!! Its also very private, as there are no other restaurants for miles, and its right on a stony beach that isn't that great for swimming...

The other place that you should check out for a wedding venue is Atzaro. May be a bit more ££££, but it is gorgeous. http://www.atzaro.com/

Wish I wasn't already married so i could do it on ibiza!!

I have some photos somewhere but no idea to post them!!

Thankyou, that's a great help :D

always at your service ;)

and yes, mitsi is right: the place is really, really nice and you don't get disturbed from other restaurants etc.

and of course atzaro would be another perfect place for a wedding, but that really would cost a fortune!

Thanks Mitsi :D We did look at Atzaro but we specifically want the setting to be near water so we have narrowed it down to Cap de Falco, Yemanja or Sa Punta - the sunset is swaying us towards Cap de Falco tho.

good choices! Out of all three, Cap de Falco definately has more wow factor I reckon. The view is amazing.

You can't beat the paella at yemanja though...

Sunset @ Cap d'es Falcó a couple of years ago ;)

Yes, my friend took me there few years ago for the sunset, it's one of his fav spots for the sunset. I haven't been to the restaurant, but it looked nice and laidback, and as Mitsi said, it's an isolated restaurant cos you feel you are miles away from civilised world and IMO it's a bonus ;)
The only problem is that I was literally eaten by the moscats, but I was eaten aswell in Formentera so it wasn't a problem of the place (I hope so)

An make for sure you get few "WOW" shots from Cap d'es Falcó ;)
