Can I be an Ibizian ?

Hi everyone,

Well I might have the opportunity to go to San Anonio, Ibiza on vacation during september. I'd like to ask a couple of thing before going there caus', to be honest, I'm a little "worry" (like I'm asking too much questions) :

- First : I've been seeing in magazines, on TV, on the Internet etc... pictures of Ibiza parties. And we always see sexy men muslced, handsome...Well I'm ugly, not muscled, and a little too much hairy...Will I be "accepted" in Ibiza parties ?
- Is it hard to enter a club ? I'm about to stay in San antonio, and the Eden is the nearest disco club... Will I be accepted there ? or is it hard to enter this club ?
- Sex, drug and fiesta ? : I'm wondering if this island is really like we can hear around here here, in France (oh by the way I'm french, but don't worry I don't have a moustache at least). Is it like "orgies on the beach" ? In clubs, do we have to take drugs or something like that...
- I'm going there with a friend (a girl) and we wonder if we can easily meet people around our age there (about 24 years old).

1. everyone is accepted in ibiza, anything goes. As long as you feel comfortable yourself, it will be fine.
2. It is easy to go to any club on the island, there is no 'door policy'. I have never seen anyone who was willing to pay or had a ticket be refused entry. It'll be fine.:)
3. No orgies on the beach. and of course, no you don't have to take drugs. Do whatever you want.;)
4. on trouve beaucoup de gens à travers toute l'île

Ne t'inquiète pas, tout va bien aller. amuse-toi bien!!;) 8)

I never heard of a club that only accepts good looking people, as long as you have the right attitude (planning enjoying the music and la fiesta), you'll be fine.

No problems with Eden and actually no problem in most clubs

Go to Ibiza and experience it on your own, you'll see it's a big stereotype and as most stereotypes it's false. Nobody will oblige you to take drugs and about orgies I haven't seen many around. BTW, I do Ibiza but I don't do clubs and I love that island, so at the end of the day Ibiza it's what you want

You'll meet lots of people with same interests and same age, just we friendly, smile and enjoy

I'm glad to hear that...Indeed, my questions were based on stereotypes, and I was worried because if I'm going to Ibiza I wanto to go to a club, at least once. It would be a pity to go to Ibiza without going to a club. it is worth the oppotunity.

Well I think I'm going to be myslef, and have fun there and relax and party all night ! lol

Has anyone heard about San Antonio Hotel-Club Cartago Galéon (3*) ? Has anyone already stayed there ? Can you tell me about this ?

What about the difference between San Antonio and Ibiza town ? Which one is better or are they worth each other ?

Which club do you prefer there ? Which one is David Guetta's ? (Pacha ?)

Have you ever meet famous people there in the street for instance ? (or is it part of the stereotypes ?)

Can we buy trendy clothes in fashion stores ? Is it "expensive" ?

What was your best memories during your Ibiza stay ?
