This is a little far for you Olly but my best camping experience was in Interlaken, Switzerland. They have white water rafting, skiing/snowboarding in summer, or just chilling out.

I stay there last year, as well as Lauterbrunnen. I fell in love with Switzerland.
 
Off camping in the Lake District in a few weeks and just wondered if anyone had bought a good quality / reasonably price 1/2 man tent recently?

Opened up my current tent last used for Global Gathering in 2009 and it's missing the outer layer & pegs :eek:

Just get a cheap number, make sure its got taped seams. Wynnster make good quality cheap tents.
