Camera Phones?

This has been asked a few times in previous years, but was just wondering what the deal is with bringing camera phones into clubs (especially space) this year?

With quite a few phones now having 1 mega pix plus cameras (I have the sony ericsson K750 wiv a 2 mega pix camera) and the quality being much better are the clubs becoming any stricter on bringing them in :?:

Actually, Parties & Clbs is probably the right place for it. Here's the answer I posted there:

I never saw anyone asked to check their phone at any of the clubs this year.

Last year at Space when I had to argue with the guards to keep my camera, I pointed out that people all around me were snapping camera phone pictures. They didn't seem bothered.

In short, don't worry about it.
 
Agree with Morbyd. You wont have a problem at all with camera phones.
In fact this year my mate took his digital camera out with him to all of the big clubs, clearly visible on his belt, and he wasn't questioned about it once.
 
Yeah i heard that they are easy on cameras this year except for space.....but then again this will be my first time so i hope they dont take my camera away.

hey im just back there on sunday from ibiza. At cream in amnesia they took my mates camera off him and he had to collect it at the end of the night, this was also the case in space last thursday.

They took mine off me at Cream as well, but as the counter where you hand it over is inside the club I just went back an hour later, collected it and stayed in the club snapping away ;)

Space and Manumission didn't allow camera's, but didn't have any problems at all with my camera phone.

LushCrew - Good choice, I've got the K750 as well, and the pics all came out really well, sometimes better than my digital camera:
