Camera Phones?

This has been asked a few times in previous years, but was just wondering what the deal is with bringing camera phones into clubs (especially space) this year?

With quite a few phones now having 1 mega pix plus cameras (I have the sony ericsson K750 wiv a 2 mega pix camera) and the quality being much better are the clubs becoming any stricter on bringing them in :?:
 
I never saw anyone asked to check their phone at any of the clubs this year.

Last year at Space when I had to argue with the guards to keep my camera, I pointed out that people all around me were snapping camera phone pictures. They didn't seem bothered.

In short, don't worry about it.
 
my camera is huge, i wonder if i'll get away with keeping it by pretending its a new kind of phone :D
 
how come I see so many pictures from inside clubs tho?
people giving their trip reports, then check my pics
and in the pics they are in DC10, space or where ever happily smiling for the camera like they dont give a rats ass..
are there certain clubs that allow cams or do all the super clubs not allow cams?
so you just sneak them in and get lucky?

search cameras in clubs and ye will find your answers several hundred times over :D ;)

Space and Amnesia have official 'no camera' policies, but enforcement is spotty and you can usually get away with it no problem.

I don't think there's any problem in Pacha, El Divino or Penelope, or at least I've never had a problem. I have no idea about the San An clubs (Eden, Es Paradis).
 
i went 2 es paradis, eden, amnesia and privilege last week and only got checked for cameras in amnesia and privilege but i just hid my cam in my sock and managed 2 get it in, simple as that.
 
I've took camera into every club in Ibiza, I think it helps if you're a girlie as they tend to search girlies less, I've never even been searched, just smile nicely at the nice bouncer man ;)
 
but what happens if you get your camera in the club.. and the bouncer catches you taking snaps?
you get kicked out? or they just take our camera off you and you can get it back when you leave?
they will make you delete the pics too? hahahaha

When I got caught at Space once, they just wanted me to check the camera in at the entrance for subsequent retrieval upon exit. (I talked my way out of it though, with a warning to stop taking photos)

All that happens is they take your camera off you, give you a ticket for it and pick it up at the end of the night.
