Camera In The Clubs

I seen a few pictures taken by people on this forum inside the clubs.

However I heard they don't let you take your camera inside? Is that correct cos if so how did other people manage to get their camera's on the inside!

Don't really want my digital camera taken off me wen I arrive at a club one night, could someone please confirm what is correct?
 
To be a little more verbose...

There are about 10,005,653 threads on this topic. If you do a search for the word "camera" you'll see a whole bunch of them with various people's experiences ;)
