Camera in clubs?

Hey all,

I've just talked to a friend of mine who returned yesterday. I'm leaving tomorrow. Anyways - he mentioned that you're not allowed to take your own camera into a club? He's been to Space and Amnesia and at both places you had to leave it at the entrance (you got it back afterwards, of couse). Does the same also go for Pacha? It's better imo to know that in advance and to leave the camera at the hotel then.

Pacha is fine for cameras. Space and Amnesia have a no camera policy but I've always got one in and took pics no problem.
 
Hmmm... What did you do, put it in your handbag? I own a pretty small one. So I could ask my lady friend to put it in hers? But I don't want to get into trouble and get thrown out because I've been using a camera inside.

Anyways - one more night and then it's off to Ibizaaaaa :).

No I don't do handbags :lol: My digital camera is tiny so it's easy to hide in a discreet place ;) They tend to search boys more than girls as well so I've never been searched so your girlie might be a good bet. You won't get thrown out even if they do see you with it, at the worse they'll just give you a ticket to collect it at the end of the night.
 
Cameras in clubs

I was over in Ibiza mid Aug, i managed to get my camera into Space with no problems at all, and that was the Radio 1 night when security was tight, however when i went to Manumission they made me pay about 4 euros to put it into a cloakroom and when i looked there were litrally HUNDREDS of other cameras in there, so theres no chance there.
 
If you got a small cam and/or will hide it well, plus be discreet when using it inside clubs, then you shouldn't be caught with it and can manage to blag it in.
