And what a true post eh ???

yeah, for a load of spotty geeks who need to remove their head from their arses. I love the guy who is adamant it's a Bangalter & Falcon track. Perhaps he should have done his homework before making himself look like a bit of a c*ck.

Gets a bit tedious after a while, life's too short and people have different tastes. Variety being the spice of life etc.

Couldn't have put it better myself...

I'm sure that there is some amazing underground house tunes, but the elitism on that board puts me off delving any deeper, I don't like being made to feel like I can't enjoy a broad spectrum of music including more mainstream house because it's seen as uncool by my peers... I'm sure that a lot of people on there secretly own and love lolas theme!! :P

Yes , if the result you require is getting gormless fools to buy your god awful record then as a piece of marketing its brilliant.

As a piece of music - it's awful. Pretty much like Busted. Play there records would you ??

Some of the other threads are decent and worth a read, until someone mentions something even remotely commerical or successful, and then they're shot down like the evil b*stard daughter of Stalin & Hitler.

this might be where he got confused

DJ Falcon & Thomas Bangalter / Eric Prydz :: New New York / Call On Me :: White [PROMO]-White :: £6.73 (5.73 exc VAT)
NEW001

This record really is quite popular. If you just watched Tony Blair's speech from Brighton they were playing Call on Me in the conference hall and everyone was clapping along.

jesus christ... reckon eric's gonna have to change his name now?

look what happened to D:Ream...

could also be a ploy to get the younger voters interested and vote for them with the "this song is number one, therefore this party should be too"...

bunch of arse...

whats the real story then.......

Is it true that Eric Prydz gave Falcon a really early demo of call on me, and he had his record bag stolen, so someone went and made a bootleg of it thinking it was a bangalter/falcon production??????

Thats what I have heard, and assume is true, I first downloaded it back in March/April as Thomas Bangalter and was very confused when a bit later it was Eric Prydz, oh and I am proud to say that I did like this tune quite a lot, albeit I am bored of it now. Just because a song goes to number 1 doesn't mean I have to deny I ever liked it (I used to do that from the age of 11 to 22 ish)

the song was used on the background newsround when it showed rooney scoring his hat trick

Alter Ego - Rocker, was played on Radio One today. I wonder if loads of gormless kids are going to buy it and it'll be slated for being a pile of cheese.......

It's commercial crap Stu, now it's been played on the radio it's automatically a pile of old $hit innit. A tune's only good if a handful people have heard it. Heard that Weekend tune on Kiss today as well. What a load of cheesy crap!

actually its just shit

nothing to do with it being popular

loads of good stuff is really commercial

youre missing the point

its just an utterly wank cheesy tune with dodgy filters and big drum rolls
