Cafe Mambo

Sorry, just to recap here.

Is it actually illegal to drink a carry out on the beach in Ibiza now? Or is it just San Antonio?

Or is this just restricted to glass bottles?

Anyone got a link to something confirming this?

if your staying in san an or san an bay its def not too far to get a taxi back. If you ask in the bar they will call one for you to come to Cala Comte.

any idea which bus you would get to here, cant seem to find it unless Im blind, but I did see a statement elsewhere saying the buses stop at here at 6,45 pm, so no good for sunset grrr, I presume its the number 4 bus which does indeed end at 6,45 pm,
Oh well back to the drawing board

would you have to book for a table to eat? or how about just some drinks? looks nice

Not always especially after the height of the season but can get very busy some days so probably wise. 'Some drinks' is what I usually go for there - don't need a table for that  - much nicer than the San An places for my taste ;)

Check out the Cala Bassa Beach Club too .. haven't got to this yet but seems to have been ages in the making - think it's open now :

I was at this very spot last october, all the restaurants were closed;not a problem....

everyone brought car loads of food and drink with picnic tables (wallpaper)+ bbq + music

don't need beds with white sheets and waiters on this beach...

 - agreed, but sometimes it's nice to beach-hop and after a day out hiking round the wild ones in the heat I can assure you it's quite a nice treat to drop in and spend an hour or so somewhere civilised with chilled drinks on tap, a DJ and a comfy place to park your end !

Thanks for that .. it would be interesting to see what demand is like in the Winter indeed. By then my appetite has usually returned from its holiday in the Sun

They are taking a "Cala Jondal approach" to things by the looks of it.

The value : price ratio will be interesting to gauge.. but I certainly won't be handing him 150Euros and saying create me a meal with that .. a snack and a drink are all I'd be up for in the Summer heat !

how do I find out what is going on at mambo's next week?? cant find it anywhere :-/

they normally announce it on their facebook page the day before...but they basically have pacha-pre parties every day but tuesday, when they do together pre-party. and not sure about sunday either.
