Cafe del Mar + Blue Marlin

Hi all

Never been, never been to Ibiza actually, but will be there early June

Are these places still worth a visit?

Blue Marlin is interesting especially when some live music is going on (for example Goldfish).
Cafe del mar is nothing special nowadays! Check out Cafe Mambo instead! Is right next to it!
What else could be very interesting is the "new" Ushuaia in Playa den Bossa, with Pool/Beach Parties and artists like Sasha, Dennis Ferrer, etc.

I personaly think Cafe Del Mar is well worth a visit. If you grab a seat outside, get a few drinks in and watch the sunset go down I think you will remember it for a few years to come.

As someone else has said, Mambo is also cool but depends what you want from a bar. Cafe Del Mar to me sums up the whole sun set thing, Mambo is more of a pre bar than somewhere to chill.

Ignore the expensive Mambo hype. Get yourself some beers from the super market and plonk yourself on the rocks outside the bars. Alot cheaper!! If you do want to sit in a bar with some cocktails then carrying on walking round the corner to bars like Sun Sea Bar. Alot more relaxed with a better view of the sunset as you are looking straight at it rather than turning to the right. They are also cheaper.
