I have been by myself on a few occasions and am doing so again this year. The best piece of advice I can give anyone going alone is make the most of it!! By going on your own you can do precisely what you want, when you want to do it and at whatever pace you want!! It also works out cheaper when buying a roundrollinsolo said:
One other piece of advice I would give is, if possible, if you're staying in a hotel with a pool, spend some time there and get to know a few of the other guests- quite often I've found sources for cheaper tickets, and been able to split the cost of cabs etc when going out on the same nights. You don't say when in July you're going- if we're going to be out there at the same time send me a PM.
