Buying tickets in advance / door policy Space

Hi there,

A girlfriend of mine and I will be leaving for Ibiza next week on wednesday. We were planning on going to Amnesia on Thursday, Space on Sunday and Pacha on Monday. For Amnesia and Space you can get your tickets in advance (for instance on the Ibiza Spotlight website). The most interesting aspect of this is that you can get in at the guest entrance. I was wondering if the same is possible for Pacha. Can you get tickets in advance, and can you get in at the guest entrance then? Does anybody know about this.

Then I have a question about Space. The ticket you can buy for Space on sunday is for the whole day (am and pm). Does this mean it goes on without a pause? And if so, can you go out of the club and get back in again (for instance to have some diner at the hotel). I know clubs were this is not allowed (e.g. the Versuz in Hasselt in Belgium - you have to pay again when you leave the club).

Thanks for any answers you can give me.

Hi Johan.

I'm not aware of any special Pacha tickets available online. I would also advise getting your Amnesia tickets at one of the pre-party bars... I've usually gotten some good deals that way.

Space tix are better to buy here because you get in through the VIP cue, which in my experience is much shorter.

The We Love Space Sundays ticket gives you one "pass out", basically a bracelet that lets you leave and come back once at any point during the day/night.

The VIP/Guestlist queue is either quiet or a complete rammy

Both times i've been there its been rammy territory

Okay,

But I think I'm still gonna get the Amnesia tickets on-line as we'll be arriving on wednesday and the party is on thursday. Also - we're in Playa d'en Bossa. Don't know at what time we'll head over there. Were are those pre-parties b.t.w.? Not in in Playa d'en Bossa, I suppose? I've just read it's near to San Rafael. Not that I have clue how far al those towns are from eachother. It's my first time to Ibiza (not counting the times I was there as a kid - around 5 or 6 years old or so).

As to getting your tickets on-line at all - because of the possible chaos at the Guest/VIP entrance. I just wanna be sure to get in at those specific days in the clubs I've mentioned. Don't wanna stand at the entrance and the club is full or somethin'.

Pity you can't get your tickets on-line for Pacha though. I guess I'll have to head over there then earlier and get my ticket at the hotel or so. I don't wanna miss Roger Sanches ;).

Regards, Johan.

Oh yeah,

Perhaps a stupid question - but at what time does it al start? Midnight? Earlier? Later? Not talking about Space ofcourse - as we'll be there all sunday :D.

Regards, Johan.

hey johan

clubs open at midnight usually. things normally get going from 1-2am on till 7-8 in the morning

it's really not a problem to get tickets for all the parties you want...i've NEVER seen a party which was sold out! for example, i'll arrive on ibiza on thursday 15th september in the evening and i will go out this night (either pacha or amnesia). you can just get your tickets at any bar on the same night the party takes place! in PDB (= playa d'en bossa), there's for example bar "tantra" which always offered me good deals (cheaper than online...). but you can also drive into ibiza town (just before you go to pacha for example) and buy your ticket at any bar in town...

have a blast! :D

Nostrum: And how about queues at the entrance? Allthough Macdonsj mentioned the quest/vip entry can be chaos too.

We'll be there from 14.9 'till 22.9 b.t.w. Really looking forward to it. You're up for a second time??? Cool *grins*.

What we've planned 'till now is three nights at the clubs. I wanna visit Cafe del Mar on another evening. For the rest we wanna do some relaxing too. Perhaps visit one of those local villages. And head over to the Hippie market. And a bit of shopping in Ibiza town is on our schedule 2 (Sales! ;))

A friend of mine mentioned b.t.w. that it's interesting to visit Las Salinas beach. Any comments on that.

Regards, Johan.

At Space, the regular line can be quite long and I've never seen more than a couple of people in the VIP line, so I wouldn't worry about it if you buy online. It can be random and depends on when you show up.

At Pacha, Penelope and Amnesia, the lines were usually quite short when I was there this year. I usually tried to show up around 2. Privelege always had longer lines but I didn't go there this year.

It really can vary at Space. At the opening this year the people in the VIP queue were there for an hour and a half whilst us lot in the other queue went in in 20 minutes.

...but other times I've seen no queue at all for the vip queue.

But we felt so special queueing... ;)

I was there at 3pm for the We Love opening... regular queue looked about 20-30 mins but I walked up and was 2nd in line at VIP 8)

Hey all,

One thing I forgot to ask - what is the door policy at the clubs regarding clothing, especially shoes. Can you can get in with Puma sneakers for instance? Or should I take a long leather shoes?

Regards,

Johan.

The policy is that there is no policy. Nike Brazilian flip-flops are popular though.
