the last really amazing atmos I can remember in a club was Mercury Rising @ Pikes 2019. Everyone was in such good spirits. It was rammed at the front but there were pockets of space at the back, which is how I like it. Obv I'd always choose a half empty space full of the right people to a crowded floor filled with tossers jostling and elbowing for prime position.
