like that link says, the only workaround to getting rid of the DRM is to convert to another vid format and then burn that to DVD. is a right royal pain in the arse if yr machine is slowish.
im converting some of my dvds to mp4, and they usually take 1min per min.
also, i think the resolution of the itunes/ipod vid files are 320px wide. so when viewed on a standard or hi def tv will look very pixelated.
