what you doing with the Merc?

Plan was to sell now and get a new one when I get back but I've been too busy so I haven't changed the private plates, got it valeted etc.

So looks like Sis Buckley will be gaining a free car until (a) I return or (b) she sells it for me

The Mini off the road mate?

Not done it before, although I hear the roads are much clearly in mid July, and the quuickest route is (and I found this hard to believe, althoguh my mate at tghe AA tells me it's the truth) via Bromley apparently. Then France> Spain ferry to ibiza. Job's a good 'un.
