I'm learning Spanish and my teacher was brought up in San Antonio, in fact he was the manager at Space between 1991 and 1994!! Anyway, a few weeks ago he was chatting about his motorbike which he's finally getting shipped to the UK soon and he said "I always said I'd never date and English girl, buy an English bike or ever live in England," He's now got a Triumph bike, is married to a British girl (and they have three kids) and he lives in England. I asked why he'd thought that and he looked at me with raised eyebrows saying, "I grew up in San Antonio...".
It just goes to show what an impression the West End gives of the Brits, when the majority if us are so nice!! I'm so glad he met his wife and discovered that was the case... and that way I get a brilliant Spanish teacher who knows the ins and outs of Ibiza too ;-P
