Details are still a bit vague but seems strange to target only the west end when you can pick up almost anywhere :D
Sounds to me like they want the drugs to be controlled by islanders again so the money doesn't leave the economy in the way it does now in people's suitcases.
On a positive note it should help the little mouthy twats wind it in a bit and if there are genuine problems the British police may be able to assist in a fair manor which the local police force aren't always interested in doing 'allegedly' ;)

With the emergence of Silk Road and the like, I fully expect the island to be loaded with fancy Dutch pills.

I Echo that dude...lets be honest its the fkn scouse that are ballsing it up, about 6 of them giveing thease peeps shit at defected closeing que...Charlie big times!!!..Even when the mancs and dutch ran it, things were better, i would like to see a fresh regime, then for those who fancy one of those funny toffees that make you dance all night can, safely too.

Will the African police come and stop the looky looky men selling? :D
You've got to be quite daft to buy drugs from 'most' english in the west end anyway, granted I've made that mistake years ago but with experience and knowing who to ask and how, I find the better stuff at a better price comes from either local speaking or from workers that act as a middle man for these local speaking dealers. Result being regular custom of a good product.
I pray they don't actually try and crack down on the decent avenue of purchase!

You have to remember who this article is written by, I mean I'm sure they would never sensationalise anything in their good newspaper ???

^^ indeed  ... but let's be realistic, I give the bobbies 3 weeks before they're lured to a villa and emerge 3 days later from a booby-filled bacchanale with intermittent nosebleeds and a persistent nasal drip

I hope not. The Dutch stuff is always hit and miss and will usually have you monged out, regardless of whether you take them in halves or full. If you know which presses to look out for, then the English stuff is way more euphoric, loved up and energetic. Check out PR to keep yourself updated.

it's actually true though... it's been on the local press for a long while!
It makes you laugh though, what with all the cost cutting of the police force, NHS and everything else the government are doing, yet they can afford to do this??

The Guardia Civil's gung-ho brutality combined with our anti-youth, anti-noise, anti-clubbing, anti-fun boys in blue brigade... in San Antonio.

What a joyous union that'll be. Can't wait.

Looks like there may have been more guidelines since it was originally introduced, but here's some text from 2009 when it came out. Guess no one will get a 30.000 euro fine, like no one here will probably get prison.

Been a few high profile cases (not least one about an Italian student - its on YouTube) about members of the public being treated disgracefully in the UK in relation to filming. Unless the police have reason to suspect it's linked to terrorist activity there's nothing they can do to stop filming or photography.

I've never had a problem though with police in Spain or Italy etc. they mean business though and we not to be taken lightly!! Action first questions later type of behaviour!

Had to search to find this forum again lol but seen on the news in the UK Monday night I think it was..

They showed 2 UK police officers in magaluf they were there for 1 week working from 2pm to 10pm patrolling.. They were then travelling to ibiza it said
