can anyone tell me what brighton would be like for a weekend break before christmas? is it terribly expensive, whats the club scene like?
 
Brighton is lovely and much nicer in winter than in summer imo.

I've never noticed it as a particularly expensive place to visit. The clubbing is ok and they have some decent line-ups from time to time - the main problem with it used to be the early closing time of 3/4am but most of the clubs have got late licences now.
 
im thinking of combining it with a few days in london for my 25th birthday but the manics are playing a gig in brighton on friday 13th that i wouldnt mind going to, spending a few days there over the weekend and then a day or two in london would be cool too.

You can get a quick train from London to Brighton in less than an hour as well ;)
 
suppose we could always go to the gig, have friday in brighton then head back to london for some clubbing on saturday.
 
Smash up central. Very expensive, hoiked up for any reason too. Second only to central to London for prices. You lot have too much money...
