Me....

Fri Night - Private party (maybe) probably...

Sat day - Actually going to watch the parade this year, depends on Fri Night though - Followed by sunworship in the park...and endless antics involving fair rides / poppers / etc.

Sat PM - Haven'tgotafookinclueyet........

Sun - Brighton Rocks street party... (not brave enough to do TRADE in Brighton)

Monday - Day Off - Yay! (already planned, no sick day this year!)

Friday = early night at the bunker (tbc)

Saturday = champagne brekkie followed by parade...we always arrive in a pack of about 30 but everyone is bound to go awol straight away.
One of my friends knows the fairground owners which is worrying...(I seem to remember boarding the waltzers during a mad moment at Lovebox and chanting, "MAKE US SICK! MAKE US SICK! MAKE US SICK!" like crazed idiots. )
Dance tent should be fun...but really it's all about seeing my old chums.

Saturday pm = Are the post park street parties on??? They were amazing last year! ...If not then we'll probably hit the open house. Trade will be pants because it's not proper trade, it's a lightweight wild fruit version...although I do like the Gloucester.
Post Brighton pride clubbing is ALWAYS crap tho.

Sunday = Brighton rock if it's on followed by F*** the pain away/Anti social.

Monday = Beach and death.

Yup - The street party was hastily arranged last week - 8 DJ's playing a whole host of stylees.... Can't fookin wait - I just about live in Brighton Rocks - I'm more than likely to have a random spotlighter moment and say hello just to freak you...

Think there is only the one "official" street party this year - I have heard the usual James street party is not going ahead, but then again, Pride usually starts a few impromptu parties...so we'll see....Ditto Trade

Brighton Rocks as mentioned already is definitely on (spoke to James on Friday(new boss of Rocks))- They're trying to open a little VIP area in one of the buildings opposite too - It will be mobbed & messy

I'm glad Brighton Rocks is back on but it just gets stupidly busy and there's always a bottleneck queue to get in.
This would normally be fine with me - I love it and the more the merrier but my friends are all, "It's not what it used to be, I hate the crowds" bores.

Hubby's head of the Social Committee at work and their annual summerfest is Friday, so I might head on down to the seaside without him after work. Not sure if I'll get permission or not yet


Saturday
Staying over at Adam's. Not sure of what the morning will hold or what we'll be doing. Generally just go with the flow. I'll have to check out your schedule and see if we can mesh.

Saturday night
Again, nothing planned but friends from Oz are here and Flip & Wes are going to be in Brighton along with the rest of the gang, so might find them. Last year we ended up at a beach party all night with a drag queen host and loads of strange peeps doing the nasty on the beach!! Was very funny.

Sunday
No plans. Might go to the Fruit thing, depending on what the hubby wants to do. I've got Monday off so won't mind a bit of a binge weekend.

You can see that I have loads of forward planning in my life.

The Gloucester is a great venue and the 5am start is very appealing so I think it might work well...but it's VERY small and tickets will sell out instantly. Just a warning.

I think I'd be able to stay over Sunday night. I don't think Marc's booked leave. All depends on how I feel to be honest. These binge weekends take it out of me now that I'm in my mid-life crisis. I'll do my best though!!

Adam's going to buy Wild Fruit tickets tonight, so I think we might get him to pick up a couple for us. Again, I hate planning these things because you never know where the weekend will take you!

Im going too!!! Yay!!! I havent asked Barbie if she is coming this year as im not sure Tom will let her after her performance two years ago!

Our plans keep changing. A friend of ours has now been given keys to an empty apartment on the seafront which is a bit of a result but we have to bring our own furniture! Probably wont go down until Saturday morning and will do the whole daytime thing in Preston park. Saturday PM, I have no idea but Im sure we will end up at Trade.
The plan is to also stay down Sunday and go to Sunday Sunday....I have no idea what this is but have been informed it is good. Im sure we will see where it takes us from then.....and I have booked Monday off work next week rather than calling in sick at 8am on Monday morning.

I say: - Sunday Sundae does attract more of the Brighton "regulars" on normal weekends and is usually a thoroughly messy affair, with regular Mondays off
