That looks sweet!

I went down to Playa del Carmen once when I was on vacation in Cancun. Nice town. A lot better than the city of Cancun (which is more separated from its resort area and a bit grimy).

BTW, is that a new festival? Don't remember hearing about it when I was down there (also around New Years) four years ago. I would have gone!

This is my first year going so i'm hoping it's a decent time.

I think it is actually the 3rd or 4th year of the conference though. The lineups have been getting better and better every year though and by the same token it seems like the festival is growing year after year.

I have heard Playa Del Carmen is pretty nice, much cleaner and quiter then Cancun, and less douch-ey.
