Right...Im in a really spontaneous mood what with our announced month off from work....:lol:

OK....Ive decided against a birthday present for the other half and instead a trip....:roll:

Either....

1.) Long weekend in London (he loves it there) incorporating 2 days at the bloody British Motor Show (how dull, but I will score points as the "car loving" other half for 2 days :lol: )

OR

2.) Long weekend in Cabo de Gata...staying possibly here.... http://www.hotelrodalquilar.com/english/ ...nice and pretty and a little fancy (recommended by a friend - beautiful & rustic) :D Couldnt find any private rentals (ideal scenario) as left it a little late me thinks!:?

In your honest opinion (boys views very important!) which would you like as a surprise getaway from your other half....:D

As you may have guessed from ALL my threads....I´m a terrible decision maker!!:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
i don't 'get' cars at all i'm afraid so i'd go for option 2. however (is he spanish??), if so then i think i'd prefer option 1 over option 2 regardless of the car show, just for the trip to london alone.

its kinda like my wife taking me to madrid/barcelona for a wknd or going to the cotswolds/lake district or somethin. Nothing against the latter but i'd prefer the city break option any day.

each to their own though.

Hes Spanish....a car FREEEEEEAAAAAAAAKKKKK but loves quiet places etc......however....I suppose Asturias in September is going to be that....SO....city break better.....:roll:

I reckon the london trip, as it's a bit different I suppose. Although the car stuff sounds zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 8O :lol:

Sorry lou, just being honest. If I had a bird and she took me to a car show, Id be well appreciative and all, but I'd be constantly worried she was bored, and I wouldn't get to ogle all the promotions girls either.

So number 2, cause he gets peace and quiet and your undivided attention.

(and right enough, he wont know what he's missing elsewhere anyway so dont worry bout it!)

Anywaaaay.....his replies were....

1.) Almeria (chilled option) is going to be sooooooooo hot and really busy with holiday people blah blah!

AND

2.) London, well.....weve both been there havent we....why dont we do something different?
