Hellooo ladies!!

Right i'm in dire need of some smart tailored trousers for work - anyone seen any anywhere? Has to be high street as unfort my pittance of wages can't stretch to designer!!

 Any help much appreciated!!

I remember trying some suits on there a while ago - wasn't impressed with the cut though - maybe cos i'm only 5 foot 3 - petite trousers are too short though as my legs are quite long for a short ar@e!!

I don't mind shelling out for them though as they will be my wardrobe staples! I'm still yet to find that elusive white shirt as well!!

You sound like my double, I am the same, 5ft 3 but my legs are not short so petite trousers are like ankle swingers on me then normal trousers can sometimes be too long or too big round the waist.

What a pain!

Well yes as I work there ;) Not that keen on the quality!!!:D

Whoops

I know what you mean but when you need a cheap pair just to do they are ok. I think Topshop had some nice ones ages ago but they were about £28 I begrudge paying that on work clothes but then if you need to look smart...............

How about Miss S or Next?

I hate buying work clothes too but I have to face up to the fact that thats going to be what i'm stuck in from now on so I want a couple of really nice pairs of trousers that go with everything - i'll probably have a look in Next at lunch

I know what you mean, sometimes you have to just splash out - at least then they will last you. If you go somewhere cheaper then they prob wont last as long.

I found Next quite good. Good for shirts in there as well.

OMG why didn't anyone tell me I was missing a girlie thread :spank:

I don't know anything about smart clothes but hello anyway

Thats why I didn't say anything cos its boring work clothes  I'm trying to look all executive!!! My mum said I should get some of those glasses that are just fake plastic - as if!!!

It really depresses me spending money on 'boring' clothes!!!

I need to go on a work clothes shopping spree. I'm going to try H&M as their stuff is cheap and their trousers fit me well. I have trouble in places like Next where they do regular length and long length as they're either ankle flappers or I'm tripping over them.
