Robder I have that fish tank, it takes a hallogen (sp?) bulb in the top of it which gets very hot and my cat likes to sit on it (we think he likes to warm his bum up)
I'd hardly call them high maintenance. It's not like you have to walk them twice a day or anything, just a bit more care than you'd probably think they'd be.
